Hi Mokid
If you have a vinyl anwing, we do, we use a bleach and water mixture. I have a long car wash brush on a pole. The Sunchaser series by Dometic I do belive are the vinyl ones.
On the top open surface of the awning when it is out, Rinse with water, then apply bleach/water mix with long car brush. Coat the entire top side.
Roll it up. Sit wait, have a cool one. Come back about 5 to 10 minutes later. Unroll and then a light scrub wiht beach again if needed, and then rinse both top and bottom. It is amazing how clean it comes with so litte work.
Here is the instructions from Dometic.

A good rinse is needed to get the chlorine off. And I aslo 303 UV spray the outside exposed part that is in the weather all the time when rolled up. With special attention to the sewing threads up by the roof line as when they sun rot the whole thing can come off the trailer. I have not had one do that yet, 303 must be working, but have had others not treat their awning and over time, the sun kills the thing.
Hope this helps

If you have a acrylic type material do not use the bleach.
