Camper Sewage Connection Tabs Broken Off

Greetings,

On my Solaris T-2653 Sewage Connection ABS pipe all the tabs are broken off-- has anyone ever just put a hose clamp around the female connector flange and just tighten it around the ABS pipe. My guess would be it might break the plastic flange before you could get it tight enough?

I know they sell the Valterra T1029-2 Termination Adapter 3" Slip Hub and that is the way I should go, but it will take almost 2 weeks for me to get this fitting.

Thanks ~ Kevin

Since you know the Valterra fitting will be the right fix, just you have lead time issue, not sure where you are buying them from.

See here for a few options.

RV upgrades, they show 14 in stock, $3.00 plus shipping https://www.rvupgradestore.com/Valte...-p/89-8290.htm They are in Ohio. Call and see if they are shipping from Ohio or some other drop ship warehouse. I can't see 2 weeks to ship from Ohio to Maine.

Amazon, $8 and free shipping, they say 4 to 5 days https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-T102...074093&sr=8-19

Etrailer $6.22 plus shipping. 3 days to Ohio, not sure on Maine https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Sewer/Va...xoCFHkQAvD_BwE

I'm not sure a hose clamp, worm drive clamp, is going to compress that dump hose female flange before the strips out the worm drive clamp.
