Bathroom faucet

Help!

We thought there was a problem with our new (to us) sunline bathroom faucet as we can’t get the lever to stay up to connect to the shower wand. We went and ordered a new replacement but it has the same problem. Is there a trick I am missing?

Thanks!

You may have to have the water turned on first.

It does not matter if the water is on or off. The pull tab will redirect water to the wand but only if you continuously hold it. If you let go, it directs water back to the faucet spout. Showering one handed out of the shower is not the easiest.

Is your water flow good and strong, or just so-so? A diverter won't stay engaged with low pressure/flow.

It may be a water pressure issue.. while replacing the faucet we found a leak elsewhere.

See pictures...

Anyone know how to repair this? Do I need to replace the whole thing or just the coupling where the leak is?

As long as the tubing is undamaged, you should be able to just replace the coupler.
