Awning rewind.

Just returned from first trip. Had my Awning down and a gent from the unit next to me released my awning and helped me store it. Now I let it out to dry it out andcan not find the release to rewind it. I have a t2570 Solaris 2001. Any help would be usefull...

kanyonkitty is an unknown quantity at this point
First and MOST IMPORTANT--- make sure you have ahold of the awning strap so that the awning CAN'T slam shut. That will most likely result in a busted spring.

OK, I am guessing that you might have an A & E awing, so at the front end of the awning roller there should be a lever (this lever is actually on the end of the awning roller) You need to flip this lever to allow the awning to retract. I think you push the lever up. Before you push this lever, make sure you have released the smaller arms that slide out to put tension on the awning when extended. Once they are retracted, flip the switch and slowly let the awning roll up.

If you look at item #11 in the first diagram, it shows you the lever.

Just don't let that awning slam closed, or you'll be needing new parts
