2006 T-2363 Where are the lowpoint drains?
Though it is not quite time to winterize, I do not know where the lowpoint drains are in my 2363. They are hidden pretty good. Does anyone know where they are?
Thanks,
Pam

Pam,
On my '99, the low point drains are under the bed. There are two valves lying on the floor; flip the handle one way for drain and the other for no drain. There's one for the hot water and one for cold. The lines to and from the valves are securely fastened to the floor.
There are two drain tubes visible under the trailer - they stick straight down about 2 or 3 inches. You may want to crawl under the rig and see if your unit has those drain tubes. That would point you at the drain valves real quick if they're visible.

The low point drains on my 2002 T 2363 are under the stove inside that door.

My 2363 was the same as Jay's.

The low point drains on my 2006 2363 are located under the stove. You have to remove the access cover (secured with 4 small screws) to get to this area. The rest is as Steve described.

Jerry, sounds like they (Sunline) cut back from a hinged panel door to a screwed in access door sometime between 02 and 06. Granted there is not much storage there, but it does fit a few long items such as a flashlight. It also is easy access to the duct work to the center bath. This is the first time I have to question some of the "improvements" made by Sunline to this model. This door removal as well as removing a window for the placement of a headboard; are they improvements or a reduction of cost to the product?
Food for thought
MM

MM:
I have to agree with you about the access panel. We had a flip-down door in our 2051 which provided enough space for frying pans, griddles and small pots.
Now, I like the headboard with no window on our 2553. DW freezes me out with all the windows open in early spring and late fall.

If the screwed on access panel is costing you a little bit of storage and easy access, why not make it a door?
I cut a hole in the front panel under my sofa and made an access door to the WH bypass valves. I need to go to Lowes to get correct latch to keep door closed, but here is my door:

I agree with Kitty, that could be a good mod for you to do.

Thank you
This will be the third attempt at saying thanks to all who responded. Not only do I know where the drains are, I have a great project for my husband.
Thank again,
Pam

I like the idea of Kitty's hinged access door, plus would not be difficult to do. There is room available in this area for storage of small items. Even though inspired by many of the mods completed by members, I have yet to tackle a modification. This may be my first, I can see how we could put this space to work.
MM, I suspect the changes you referenced may have been made between the 2005 and 2006 model years. We expected the window in the bedroom (rather than the headboard) based on the floor plan in the 2005 brochure. In July '05 we ordered a new '05 unit over the phone from Stolzfus RV sight unseen (had never set foot in a Sunline) so they could have easily fooled us about some of the details. The factory started their '06 production about that time and we got an '06 rather than an '05. Didn't know they had changed the low point drain access door but, back then, with this being our first camper, I wasn't sure what a low point drain was.

Hi Folks
I do not know if this will help on your TT, but it did on mine for the bypass access and adding extra cargo space.
See this post with pic's. Both Kitty and I have battled with "the couch" and the lauan board under it for the last time....
