Just bought my first Sunline. It's in perfect shape, except for two issues. The skylight above the shower has a couple small cracks in it, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom is broke. Can these items be bought new still or do I have to deal with them the best I can. This is my first travel trailer, so all new to this. Thanks in advance.

Good Morning towboat man an welcome to the group, nice to see another West Virginia member on here. Congrats on your Sunline purchase. We are a very loyal group of Sunline owners, and the wealth of information/experience of our members is second to none. So, I'm sure you will have no problem getting info about fixing your Sunline.

Both items that you are having issues with are basically "common" traver trailer parts, you might even find their replacements on "Ebay", and there are surplus outlets in Elkhart, Ind. Hopefully some one will post a link to them.

By the way, where in WV are you located, we are about 6 miles west of I-81 just outside of Martinsburg, WV.

Check out the meeet n greet calendar, there is a meet n greet at Rocky Gap State Park that might be something you'd be able to attend. And ya never know, meet n greets often end up with a little Sunline repair, maintenance or upgrade time.

Kitty

You didn't mention what kind of "Broke" you bathroom vent fan was, but here are a couple of options:

Power Roof Vent Ventline White

Or, if it's just the fan blade itself.....

Elixir/Ventline Roof Vent 6" Fan Blade Only

As far as the shower skylight goes... I'm not sure of the size, but here are some options:

RV Skylights

Hi Towboat Man, I have an (online/long term) friend from Weirton. She and her husband run a garage on Main St. there. I know it is in the panhandle as well.

It is Richard and Robin Adam's garage.. R&S Auto I think? Right on Main St. I think. If you ever stop, she is a long time " Friends in the Cafe healthy eating" group friend. We've been online together for 10 years or more. They have a bunch of kids and grandkids and I bet you know some of them.

A couple of tips on the fan. First make sure you have power to the "broken" fan to eliminate an electrical problem. Could be a broken or loose connection or a fuse. Second, if it is the fan, I'm assuming it's one of those small "whizzer" fans, you can buy them new (PPL supply) for about $25 or you can replace them with a higher power whole vent exhaust fan that will draw air through your entire trailer on 12v if your're dry camping (no external 120v). But......if you want one of those check the vent proximity to the soil stack on the roof. Most of those exhaust fans are reversable and you don't want to draw in odors from the soil stack.

We've found on those hot nights when we don't have 120v power for the A/C, the high rpm whole vent fans cool the camper in just a few minutes on 12v.
