Hi,
Here is a reprint of what I sent you. If you did not get this in your PM, please let us know so we can help you sort that out for the future.
Now to your question, the wall material, Sunline used pre-made wall board. It was 1/8" luan plywood with vinyl wallpaper bonded to it. It would come in 4 x 8 ft sheets.
If you can see the wallpaper being wrinkled and other signs of water damage, that means there is/was/still is a leak coming in. And there may be more than one location feeding the water into the camper.
I recently created these 2 responses to other club members on leaks, how to look for them with a moisture meter and links to camper by members and myself on how to repair them.
On last thing, I would suggest you first figure out how much water damage there is "before" taking the camper apart. The moisture meter can really help show you what is dry and what is wet. The meter, some understanding on how it works, and how to use it (we can help explain all this) really lets you know how big a job this can be. They are most always are bigger than you ever think when starting into it. Then once you know how much damage there is, you can decide if you are going to do it yourself, or not. The repair may not have to be done all at once, do it in stages, but you know eyes wide open going in how big or not this project will be.
Also, once you know the wet and dry areas, ask how should you approach the repair? Most folks do not realize how the campers are built and just start tearing into them as they think it is built like a house, and they are not. They can end up making the repair harder and longer since they took it apart wrong and created more damage to fix later. They build these things from the outside in, not the inside out like a house.
These 2 posts will get you started. Hope this helps and welcome to the club. We are glad to have you with us. Any and all questions welcome.
