12 volt tv power source

Hello,
In my 86 2406 I have a 12 volt plug in for a tv with a booster built in. Can I use this as a 12 volt power source for other appliances? Would this be a good place to plug in an inverter?
thanks
john

Yes, you can use it to power any 12v appliance, as long as you don't exceed the rated amperage of the plug. We had a 12v fan plugged into ours this weekend, and it worked fine.

The booster of course is a signal booster for the television. That 12v plug can be used for most any appliance. I assume the inverter you refer to is to provide 120v AC power. An inverter has a huge amperage requirement. Plugged into a running auto is one thing but it will drain your RV battery in a hurry. Check the amperage requirement on the inverter and check the fuse rating on this circuit.
