That's to much for me to feel comfortable going long trips. With gear and extra people the camper and truck would be near 9500-10000lb range. So unfortunately I'm going to be selling it.

By the way. The airbags did an amazing job at leveling the truck.
In these latest photos, were the only modifications adding air bags to the rear suspension?

Those air bags really leveled it out. I’m also impressed that you were able to go 60mph comfortably. Bummer you have to sell it.

Lol I wasn't completely comfortable. It felt like the camper was going to blow off the truck. But the truck felt alot more stable than I thought. I feel like I could do a commercial for air lift lol. I actually ended up finding a used set of air bags and saved $140. I'm going to be on the hunt for a lighter truck camper now.

I have an '89 C951 and haul it on a '92 F-250 w/pretty beefed up suspension (I regularly haul close to 4k lb in the bed). I'd be really leery about hauling it on anything less than a ¾ ton w/an 8' bed although as you said, the PO had a 6½' bed and it seemed work but certainly couldn't pull a trailer behind it.

If you do decide to sell the camper, please let me know - Has nothing to do w/what I said above. I'd rather see you get a heavier duty truck & keep it. I really like mine as it's the perfect length to still be able to tow a trailer yet have a full bath but yours appears to be in much better condition than mine & I'd poss. be interested in selling mine & trading up. Shoot me a PM if so.

Edit - Just noticed how old this thread is.

Mine has some issues where the jacks attach as well. I'll eventually have to dig into it I guess.

I might be interested in yours depending on the condition and price. I love the size/layout etc. Mine is in ok condition but I'd consider selling/upgrading to a nicer one. Please PM me w/the details &/or I can send you my contact info. Thanks!

How's the interior on yours? Mine needs the exterior re-done as well but someone already did the interior and not really to my liking. If you're inclined, send me some pics and a price - I'd at least like to see if it's a better option. Thanks.
