Adding AC

Does anyone know if a C-951 (not sure what year it is) is pre-wired for A/C? I know many manufacturers will pre-wire them if it's an option (?) whether or not that particular unit got the option. It makes installing a roof A/C in place of the vent a snap. Thanks.

Generally they are pre wired. I think they came with a 20 amp breaker installed also if your box has one then it's just a matter wiring the unit (don't forget to turn off the breaker first if it's on!)

Great - Thanks for the info. I just watched a video on Truck Camper Magazine's site about installing AC (I'm a pretty decent amateur electrician & generally know how to do a lot & am pretty particular about my craftsmanship). I'll wire it if need be but the pre-wiring makes it a snap so good to know what to look for. Just got the camper Sunday and haven't even begun to get too familiar with it. Apparantly it hasn't been used for about 4-5 years but so far don't see any indication of water leaks. I'm anxious to get it cleaned up & start testing all the systems out. Biggest concern is whether it was drained &/or winterized but I'll fix any pipes if I have to.

I got it for Free(!) so even if I have to put some $ into it I'll still be ahead - I just don't want to go too overboard on it since even really nice ones don't go for too much.

Thank you so much for the information!
