What a life

So, I'm sitting here on a Saturday evening, trolling for trailer info, when I start thinking what a pitiful life.
I used to be out dancing at this time in my youth.

Then, it occurred to me that somewhere out in cyberspace, someone is expounding on the merits of smooth potato chips over the ruffled variety.
At least I'm learning something.

Relaxing and Fun are all what "we" make of it.

I have some folks at work sort of give me the "You have got to be kidding me" when I tell them we are going out camping, again.... Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter different seasons bring different things to have "fun" with.

However those that say those words have not been out camping the way we go camping.... I use to do all this in a 2 man tent, but now I bring the kitchen sink along too

I had a friend when I was young who told me the purpose of life was to have fun. Ginny and I have had real fun for the last nine years flitting here and there all over NA. Our relatives ask "Haven't you seen it all yet?"

It does seem there's always more to see but it's more than that. It's spending all our time together, meeting people that typically like each other and have time for each other. In some measure it's escape from the every day duties of family and organizations that can tie us down to a staid routine. It's the joy of discovery. Of finding a charming town no one else seems to know about, camping on a massive cliff overlooking the Pacific and virtually no one else is there, driving for 8 hours on a dirt road and only see 8 vehicles, no electric poles, only clear deserted lakes.

I love our life. I don't care if others don't understand it. I know they c an see our joy but not sure they understand it's source.

It's the good life, it's fun and it's a low cost way to live. Our lives have become more ordered as a result, we need less and know where everything is. Living like this would have been a good pre-marriage experience.

Obviously I love RVing

It's a way of life. I went camping last weekend through Monday afternoon. One hour after I parked the Sunnie last Monday I was on my way to the airport for a business trip to Greenville, SC. Today is Thursday and it's 7:30pm and I'm sitting at the G'ville airport waiting to get home by midnight tonight so I can hook up the Sunnie tomorrow morning for another three day weekend. Whew!
