Hi Everyone,
I just bought a 1986 26' Sunline trailer and the water tanks are leaking. Wish i knew more about these trailers before i bought it, but a lessen learn. Does anyone know where i can find a manual for this trailer that has a schematic of the system and also where can I purchase parts for this year trailer.
Thanks for any help you can give and looking forward to be part of this forum of sunline owners

There probably isn't a specific schematic available, but the system is pretty simple: You have two parrallel supply points. There is the fresh water tank, that feeds the system via a 12v pump. Seperately, you can hook up directly to a outside source via a hose and the system uses the pressure from that source to operate.

On the waste side, you have two tanks. The grey tank is for your bathroom and kitchen sinks, and the shower. The black tank is for your toilet.

SO, with that Basic RV Plumbing 101, which tank(s) is leaking?

Fresh Water (supply)
Grey water (waste other than toilet)
Black water (Toilet waste)

A lot of parts are standard plumbing stuff that can be bought at a local hardware store. RV specific stuff can be bought online or through a local RV store.

There is ususally a six gallon water heater. It can be propane or propane/electric. Some have pilot lights, some are electronic ignition. On a '86 it probably has a pilot light. They can be located just about anywhere in the trailer, the easiest way to find it is to look for a door like the middle one on the back in this picture:

Once you find that door, or one similar, get the model # and we can give you more specifics on how to use it. Also, look in the files section, there might be an owner's manual.
