The pump only runs when there is low pressure in the water system. Under normal circumstances, the pump is set to maintain pressure so that when you open a faucet, the pump will run and the water flows out of the faucet under pressure. (If your system has an accumulator pressure tank, you may have to run the water for quite a while before the pump kicks in.)
If you are connected to city water and turn the pump on, it won't run because city water maintains pressure in the system thus the pump never detects low pressure and stays off.
If you are not connected to city water and the water doesn't flow and eventually the pump does not run when you open a faucet, then first thing to check is the fuse. It is located in the drop down panel of your convertor and there should be a label on the panel to tell you which fuse is which. If the fuse is blown (or absent) the pump can't run.
After you go through these checks, the pump should run. You will be able to find it easily then by locating the source of the sound.
If the pump still does not run, then it's time to go looking. As far as I know, the water pumps in Sunlines are almost always mounted on the floor. I don't know what year your TT is, so I looked at the '05 floorplans as representative. Based on what I see there, the pump is most likely under the sofa bed or somewhere in the bottom of the cabinets under the sink & fridge.
