TV/cable question

I have a 2003 t-2753, prewired for cable in 3 spots. While in Florida last week, I hooked up the campsites cable and for the life of me could not get any of the digital cable shows, got about 17 stations out of 150 or so. I'm new to this, so what am I missing? The TV I used is almost new, but I don't know if the TV's have to have decoders or what. A little help, please.
And, for what it's worth, Emerald Beach RV Park in Navarre, Florida is quite nice. We had a beachfront site for 6/7 days and really enjoyed the view and the salt air.
Again, thanks to you that respond.

If your antenna booster was on it will interfere with the cable feed

Camp ground cable hook ups are not the best there is too much loss in number of hook ups. I don't think the issue is your tv.

Thanks, I checked the booster-with it on I got snow, so I know it's working and with it off got the limited number of cable stations as mentioned.

Thank you-I was at the end of the line, so to speak so that may have had something to do with my reception issue.

Did you have your tv set to receive cable, not "on-air" channels? Go to menu and be sure you have selected cable. Then if you have the correct selection, try each of your cable hookups--on one of my campers only one was "live" and receiving signals. It may also be that your service has to be turned on by the office. Hope this solves it for you. If it doesn't,then select "on air", turn on the booster and watch the on air shows. P.S. ask one of your neighbors if they have any problems!

My camper has a feed through connection on the outside that has no connection to the TV antenna system not sure how yours is hooked up I'm just kind of wondering if you are getting off air signals and not the cable.
