Question T2675-replacement wood panels for refrigerator?

We have a 2005 T2675 Transport toyhauler that we purchased in 2018.

We had our refrigerator replaced at a dealer. When we got home we realized that they had not kept the wooden panels that fit in the doors. Also, they set it so the door opens on the left, opposite from the original fridge.

So now we have an ugly (but working) fridge with shiny aluminum foil covered doors. Do we need to try to fabricate these ourselves? Can the hinge be changed to the other side?

We would like to sell the trailer in the next year or so. The tires were replaced last year. It took us from SE PA to Sturgis SD twice in the last two years so it's roadworthy and comfortable when camping.

Hi Deb,

Try calling the dealer and asking them to save the door panel if they have not scrapped the fridge already. The panels are changeable.

If you want to, you can create your own wood or other material door panel. This post of mine shows a repair to the plastic bottom panel holding area. There are pics there on how the panel fit into the fridge cabinet which may help you.

The doors can be changed from left hand to right hand hinge. You have to pull the fridge out of the cabinet 2 to 3 inches to get to the all the hinge screws, but you can change the hinges. If you need help on how to do this, ask away. I may have some pics of the 2004 I just restored showing the hinge features I'm talking about.

Hope this helps

John
