T-1550 low point drain valves

Hello, looking for someone with a t1550 or maybe the low point drains are all the same on sunline...Need help deciphering the positions of the valves and how they work.

Assuming the valves are closed and there is water in the system, the easiest thing to do is to have a helper look under the trailer (they will see two pipes usually right under the valves) while you change the position of the valves. When they are open there will be water coming out of the drain pipes under the trailer.

Then mark the handles "open" and "closed" with a Sharpie.

Mack, yep that would be simple but I have no water or enough left to watch pour out...hopefully there is someone out there with the same unit that knows this with no guess work..I do thank you for your input..

Considering the rarity of the '95 T-1550, the chances of you finding another owner with one is pretty slim. They would have used the same parts across the line for all models, so yours is nothing special. If you post a picture, that will help us confirm you have the same part and the same mounting design.

I have a '92 T-1550 and my low point drain valves, which are under the rear sofa bed are simple pull valves. Pull up on the T-handle to open and push down to close. Rotating the T-handle does nothing. I also had an '86 T-1350 that had the same valves, which operated the same way. I've only had these two Sunlines and thought most models had them but I suppose I shouldn't assume some things.

So they're like the holding tank dump valves?

Sorry Sunline Fan, for not replying for so long. I was communicating with dwinch53 via email and forgot to reply to this your post. The valves are kinda like the dump valves, except they only open about a half inch or so and they click into position. At any rate, dwinch said his rotate and he figured it out. Guess they changed the valves between our years. Have a great winter and enjoy the holidays.
