Sun screen netting attached to awning?

Anyone use those shade nettings that are attached somehow to the awning when it is unfurled?

Do you like them and consider them worthwhile that they actually provide shade?

I never could figure out of out had to make a modification to the current awning to get the panels to stay on. I, too, am interested in to screen room for the awning.
