Stud spacing

I have a 1995 Solaris and want to mount several external shelves under the awning area. Does anyone know the interior wall stud spacing used when the trailers were built.

Appreciate any help you can provide.

Al

JohnB is on a distinguished road
As a "guide" they are 16" centers. BUT things get in the way, like windows, cargo holes, door etc. and disrupt that pattern.

If you can find 1 stud, and it is clear wall, measure over 16 and check there is something there. Pending what is on the wall inside, you can find then easier on the inside, feel the 1/8 luan for a stiff spot as you slide across the wall. Sometimes they have mini staples to hold on the wall board you see. The wall board is 4ft wide, find the seam and measure back 16" from there is a start.

The smaller the camper the worse it is to keep the 16" as there are so many disruptions. But they have studs closer then 16" in certain areas.

Hope this helps

John

Here's a pic from the Sunline factory. You can see how they had to frame things, to make them work. Hope this helps!
