Slinging TV tray

How do you prevent the TV tray from slinging all around when in motion.
We have a T-1950 and it slings all over the place. There has to be something better than stuffing underwear between the top of the tray and the bottom of the shirt closet to wedge it in place. Is there some trick to it?

I don't see anyway to fold it. We swivel it around so that it is under the shirt closet and it will stay in place unless we move the trailer. I looked all over the arm for some sort of locking mechanism but if it is there, I am not seeing it.

No there isn't anyway to "lock" it in place, none that we have found anyway. BUT ours never moved once it was under the shirt closet.

TV Tray fix T1950

Here is the TV tray fix for the T1950 that I used. It starts with a latching hasp:.

I attached the hook part of the hasp to the table: .

Then the hasp I screwed to the kitchen partition wall:
. Pretty neat and cheap...about $2.60 for parts.

Sorry I couldn't post sooner. Our internet provider is switching over from Adelphia to RoadRunner..not as smoothly as expected.

I also put these photos in the photo section under edzius

That latch works great. I have the same one (except in shiny brass) on my towing box.
