I do not know what year your T1950 is.

On our 2004 unit, the crank out windows there are small silver looking wire clips and expand out and hole the screen into the window frame. I do have to take the crank open knob off first to get the screen off. I work one spot to get started, then work my way around the screen until it comes out.

On the up and down windows, those have flat springs in the sides of the screen. I push the screen frame left of right and it compresses the spring enough to let the screen come out on one side of the channel then take it out.

With all my piles of pics....I do not happen to have one of those clips. But if you need more help, I can go take some pic's and post. Camper is now hear at the house.

Hope this helps

John

Cleaning, once you get the screen out, hose it down and use dish soap and gently clean with a rag or sponge. Then rinse and let dry before putting back on.

Thanks John,... what am I doing with those silver tabs... taking them out ?? or pushing on them...
I have a 2004 also ... I saw the silver tabs when I was outside my camper looking into window above sink... when I am on the sofa looking at the big crank window.. I see black clip type things... I am so afraid to push / pull too hard.... do you remove when you are inside or outside of the camper..

Also.. what about the mini blinds.. do you ever take yours down to wash them ? I have a friend that does his ( different brand camper ) and takes them off.. and then dips them up and down in a bucket of soapy water... then rinse ... dry a bit and then hang them back up... thoughts on that ?? Thank you in advance !! Sarah

On crank out windows, the sliver clips just create tension to hold the screen in place. The screen comes out from the inside. Take the crank knob off, uses a square bit or Phillips pending brand, then gently pry it out starting at a corner. Gentle pry being careful to not scratch and the one corner will come right out. Then work your way around the screen and out it comes.

The up and down (single hung) windows you can just push full left or right and it will pop out of the channel opposite the side you are compressing the spring on.

The mini blinds, I myself would not soak/dunk them. The cord then gets all wet. dry clean the dust off and if needed wet wipe by hand with rag etc as needed. To get the blinds out, look straight up under the valance at the ends. Take a screw driver straight blade and pop open the little hinged door on both ends and the whole thing is in your hands. We wipe clean in place, but you can remove them if needed. Ours does not get that dirty/soiled, more dust.

Good luck

John

Smile screen

thank you SO much... I was able to remove ( and replace! ) the screens on the bathroom and next to door window.. not the crank windows yet... I actually did dunk / use sponge on the mini blinds... gorgeous day... let them dry in the sun on a big piece of cardboard... hopefully will be all set.. need to head out now to get them back in!
I will look for my screwdriver and attempt the "crank" window screens. thank you so much you have helped me immensely !

Talk soon
Sarah
