saw 2 sunlines today
I was on my way home today from Louisville, ky and saw 2 sunline trailers going east bound on I-64 today, around 3pm or so. What's unusual about this is, in Kentucky you rarely see any at all, since we had no dealers most of the time. Maybe someone that is a member of the club was passing through. I hope their trips went well with good weather and cheap gas.

Good Morning,
Must have been Sunline sighting day. I was northbound on I-81 headed from WV into Maryland and saw a small tan double axle Sunline with the maroon & dark blue striping and a white one with the maroon & gray stripe that looked to be about 28'. Odd(actually rare) one that I saw was a white Sunline truck camper on a blue chevy. Hopefully it was someone from this group, if not, maybe it's someone that will find their way here.

You poor SUnline starved people! When we walk the dog there's an overpass bridge 1 block from our house. Pepper HATES the bridge for some reason and will just sit down in protest. When he does this we'll stand there and see how long it takes to see a Sunline. On any friday, saturday or sunday it never takes more than 5 minutes.

We spent the weekend at Cunningham Falls in MD, and there were four Sunlines in the loop (including ours)!

We where out with “The Camper” this weekend. See here.
CG was not too full. On Sunday when we where packing up a fellow camper came over to say hello and said, Gee I like your camper! And he showed me his just coming in as we where leaving.
WOW, another 2003 T2499 hooked to a Ford 250 pulling into a western Ohio State park at the same time???? Within 20 feet of each other…..
We where shocked, he was shocked. We both chatted for a bit and he had to move as he was blocking the road and then went to pull into his site. As we pulled out of ours we went over to chat some more. I gave him the Sunline Club web site. Maybe he will join.
This was close to a 1st. I have seen one other 2003 T2499 at this same park going out at the dump station. Went over an talked with him, that was last year.
We do not get to many Sunlines over here. Most of them are the oldies. Seems the old one just keep on ticking more then the other brands.
Happy Camping
John

Well, we've had our Sunline for all of seven months. We have never seen another one on the road or in a campground.
Hey, Sunline Fan, what is this thing you call winterize? Do you replace the tires with skis? Or fill a storage bin with coal for the furnace?
Around here, for winter, we just throw an extra blanket in the storage bin.

We camped last weekend at Codorus S.P. in Hanover Pa. last weekend and was surprised to see 6 (including ours) Sunlines there. During a walk, four of them were parked all in one row, so I walked over to talk with the folks who were sitting outside. They explained that three of them were together (family). So I mentioned this site. One of them said he'd heard of it and will check it out.
Chris, how did you like Cunningham Falls? we live about 15 minutes from there.

We were coming home from Church this morning and there are three that I can see in storage at a dealer near me. Then there is one in another neighborhood near me.

Drove thru Yogibear in Hagerstown, MD on saturday, they were packed but I did see 2 Sunlines, a 2653 (green & marron stripes) and a 1550 tan with maroon and dark blue stripes. Aslo got a quick glimpse of a "white" truck camper on I-81, and a Sunline toyota size MH.

Saw a couple more today sleeping the winter off in Western MA- tooling along in the work truck and "hey, there's one...." and then I saw another roofline peeking over the top of a fence...thought it looked familiar- on the way back by, knew I was right- it was a Sunline. No idea what they were (models) though, time was REALLY short.

Okay, just to make all you Yankees out there feel better...
I drained my water lines and tanks this weekend so they wouldn't freeze. It got all the way down to 28 degrees Friday night.
But, we're back up to the fifties now, so I've filled everything back up. I guess our first winter spell is over. We'll have another cold spell sometime in February. We'll be taking the trailer out this weekend.
Y'all bundle up now, I wouldn't want y'all to catch your death.

Catch our death?
HA!
I am a hardy New Englander! Delivering foodstuffs through the snow and sub-zero wind chills- and have yet to trade the shorts in for long pants! Everyone at work thinks I'm crazy, but hey- if my feet, my trunk, and my head are warm, the rest of me is too!

Last Fall we saw two T2553 in Brown County SP near Nashville , Ind.
Really nice looking with just the blue and white stripes showing, no SUNLINE decals. Owners we talked with said they just peeled off from TT sitting out in the weather. Guessing the years about 1998 or 2000?
Weather here is 7 degrees but by Monday 60 ! Go figure, crazy.
Ready for trout fishing March 1st! Go gett'em Tigers!
