Put 2 different sizes tires on same truck ?

My truck had four 135/85/16 tires on it. They usually aren't in stock and need to be ordered.I want to change back to 145/75/16 tires which is what the door shows it came with. I just had a unfixable flat. ! Tire is almost new. The other 2 or just 1/2 worn out. I don't want to get 2 tires at this time. The new tire is 1 inch smaller in diameter as the ones on the truck. I was told not to put 2 different size tires on the rear as it would wear out the differential fast. Would it be OK to have one of each on the front of the truck. Then as I needed new tires I was going to keep getting the new size.

If the truck is a 4x4, then you definitely need to have all the same size tires or else you'll cause major damage to the truck. If it isn't 4x4, I wouldn't recommend it, but you could as long as tire size on each axle is the same.

Running two different size tires on front axle will cause your truck to pull one side bad. If money is the problem. Buy a new one and a used one of the same size.
