1a. A battery cut off that I had not looked at or even knew about. As soon as I flipped it to "On" everything was fine.. Bright lights, AC fan and the slide out worked.
So that makes me wonder about why I was able to get some stuff working but not all at once. I am thinking maybe the issue is the battery cut off and or the battery.
Correct me if I'm wrong,
If the cut off to the camper was not let allowing the whole system to be in play, then the converter, was not able to function properly hence the issues with stuff not working correctly.
Next question is if the battery cutoff was not allowing power to the camper why did some of the lights work, and the slide out motor engage but not move? Is that a problem I need to be concerned with?

1/1a: Your converter needs the "boost" from the battery to have enough amperage to drive the slide motor.
The convertor produces 12v, but at a fixed amperage. It relies on the battery as a reserve when the amp draw exceeds the output of the converter.
The battery has enough reserve capacity to run the slide while boondocking (no 110v hookup), but the converter will struggle without the battery.
Yes, the battery switch should be on, except when the trailer is in storage. Turning it off when in storage ( if not connected to 120v) will keep things like the smoke/lp detectors and the radio from killing the battery.
FYI - I have a 2007 276SR. I did have to replace my converter at about 5 years old. Lights started to fluctuate then it died completely. Not a bad job, if you're reasonably handy.
