New Old T-1700 owner member

I guessed at the year of my old trailer. Any one know if there is any ID, or manufacture tag/label anywhere, besides the VIN tag?
The water pump works, but water flows out of one of the 2 vinyl hoses near the tank. The look like overflow hoses or something. Not part of the water lines.

Thanks for any response

Will do. Lost my phone today after taking a pic of the VIN tag. As soon as I get my new one, Tuesday, Ill take some pictures. The water was coming out the low spot drains. Easy fix.
Thanks
Brad

The VIN number does contain the model year. Assuming yours is new enough to have a 17 digit VIN, tell us the 10th digit from the left, that is the year.

The first 3 digits starting on the left, 1LC means Sunline Coach Co.

On the water pump/hoses etc, pics really help explain what you are seeing.

Hope this helps

John

Hi Brad,

The model year is 1994. The actual model number (floor plan) is not contained in the VIN. But if you know it is a T-1700, then you have the model number. If you are not sure, you can look up in the 1994 sales brochure in our files section to confirm the layout lines up with the model number.

OR take pics of each outside wall and post and we can help you back into the model.

Glad the leak was easy to fix!

John

That's great. I just knocked off 6 years on the age of my trailer. Was told it was 32 yo.

T-1700 Batteries

Thanks all for answering my water and trailer age questions.
Anybody know if there are any hidden batteries on a 1994 T-1700?
There appears to be a big red wire from the inverter, labeled battery, positive, but it disappears into the bowels of the little rig.
Thanks to all
Brad

No hidden batteries. That red battery wire should exit the front of your frame for connection to the battery.

The stock setup has the batteries on the trailer tongue.
