New 12v Plug Install - T2499

I need to install a 12v plug in the vicinity of the bedroom in my T2499. I'm curious about what would be the best way to do this, so I welcome any feedback.
The plug is for my sleep apnea CPAP machine that I use when sleeping. This is for boondocking trips only when I need to run it off of 12v battery. The circuit will need to support a maximum 7 amp 12v draw. I'm thinking that running a circuit back to the power panel will be difficult unless it is ran under the trailer. I'm thinking that coming directly off of the battery into the cabinet next to the bed would be pretty easy. Yes, I would protect the circuit with a fuse.
I'll also be adding another battery and tying it to the existing one to give me additional battery capacity. Like I said, this is just for the times that I will not have a 120v hook up. The plan is to tailgate a couple times a year and shore power is not available. Additional battery capacity is so I can be sure to be able to take the chill of with the furnace if needed.
Any thoughts?

You can tie it into a close by lighting circuit.

Since I don't know much about length of wire, gauge, fuse etc., I can look at this with an open mind! I'd try to run a wire from the converter, under the kitchen cabinetry and shower. All is pretty accessible, if I recall, by removing drawers and the panel in the bedroom. The 12V outlet could then install beside the panel on the inside bedroom wall assuming it is deep enough to accommodate the outlet. You should also be able to run a wire from the water pump through this same panel, but I don't know what would happen if the pump and CPAP are on at the same time.

The reading lights in the bedroom can also allow unobtrusive wiring if you route it in the corners and into closet and down to front pass through. Mount the outlet up high in the pass through so it's not in the way/protect the wires from being bumped off.

I'm not clear whether you're trying to run a 12V CPAP or an inverter. I used to plug a small inverter into the outlet by the TV and run a combination of 12 V and 120 V extensions to reach the bedroom. Always had plenty of power for the CPAP. A travel 12V machine would be a better solution for more than one night as the inverter will draw the battery down in addition to anything plugged in.

I can't remember what size my inverter is--3 or 400W, but it's just big enough it came with 12V plug as well as alligator cables for a direct connect. So, if in doubt, tapping directly into the battery would provide the most power. CPAP demands are quite variable. I never used heat on the humidifier and could easily get through the night even with the furnace running occasionally.

I certainly agree with Henry..get the proper size invertor for your CPAP needs and a second battery dedicated to its power needs. Your bedroom is in the front so you can easily tap into that battery and use the direct to battery cables that come wkth it.

Two batteries would be a good ideal and with the power draw you probably are limited to a couple of days with heat and the machine.

Thanks for the replies, sorry it has taken so long for me to reply. End of the year was a bust with work and family illness. Hopefully 2016 will bring plenty of time to get some things done and on the road.
