Need a measurement on a 2499....

OK I'm sure most of the compartment doors are the same size, but if someone could measure the height of the outside door to access under the bed area of a 2499 I'd appreciate it.

Santa bought Leo a tool box and (s)he needs to know if it will fit thru the opening....its 10" high.

Our TT is 45 minutes away in a snowed in non-accessible barn at the moment....guess it will be May before we get to see it again.

Can't tell you all how envious I am with all the mods you are all doing .....winter here is an eternity and if we had something to take up some of the time, it sure would help ....but alas either leave the coach in the snow and freezing temps or covered up in a nice indoor storage spot........guess well have to wait until May to start our mods......

I waded through 3 ft. of snow, 30 mph winds and fought off two polar bears.

Seriously though, I measured 12 3/8" from the bottom metal lip to the "ceiling" of the compartment which is the smallest height. You should be able to slide something 12" high in there.

That sounds like a nice tool box. Maybe I should send Santa my address too.

Henry

Time to seriously think about moving south. You can be reverse snow birds. Head north in the spring to spend the summer with NY family, and back south for an entire winter of camping. I wish we lived further south. Our last frost here is between 4/15 and 4/20.

Well since DH plows snow in the winter and I am a tax accountant - I don't see us leaving to head South in the winter......maybe in another 5 years
