Need a favor.
Hey gang, I need a favor from someone with a T2553. I have to buy a new awning for mine and I need a measurement. Need measurement from 1/2 way into the upright left arm to same on right one. I can't get to my trailer, it's in RI (storage). Thanks!

Dimensions you ask for : 227" or 18' 11" between centers of arms
My awning material length is : 212" or 17' 8"

Do you both have the same brand awning and model! Same hardware? Not worth the chance IMO....

Good question. I have a 2001 T-2553. M awning is A&E Systems by Domestic. I can take and post photos if needed.

Still a big chance and could be expensive, if a mistake...my two 2653's were different lengths (the years can change them in some cases) and therefore the placement was different, and the size of awning could be +/- a few inches...just saying....let us know how this turns out..hope I am wrong. And yes, pictures could help, I suppose.

If the center to center measurement is 19', that is the size you order. The actual awning material will be around 18'. I used rvawningsmart.com for my recent replacement. They explain how to measure.

This is just what I need. How do you rate this awning. I can't do much, except to order the parts for now. The awning broke while putting it up for storage. Both left and right end springs are frozen and the awning material was ripped, so I pulled it off and threw it away. Found a company for replacement springs, so just need to Order the awning cloth.

I am very happy with the awning material. Double sided, excellent quality. Great price. Included new pull cord and all cording needed.
