My "new to me" Sunline t1350

this is circa 1982. Everything is in perfect working order. No dents, dings, leaks or faults. I think I got lucky... When is a camper considered "vintage"? The previous owner even left me with 2 30# propane tanks and a deep cycle battery. I wanted to show all of you what i picked up ---------------------------

I'll post pics of the inside soon.

That is in nice shape. Even the decals look good. I suspect it hasn't been towed very many miles at all.

Two things I'd suggest looking at:
First nice day wash the salt and slush off.
Whitewall tires...hmm. Check the DOT code--the last 4 digits are the week and date of manufacture. Five years is pushing it for tt tires because they sit in the sun a lot and the rubber dries out. Those whitewalls are also passenger tires which means max 35 psi and soft sidewalls. Appropriately sized P tires on a light trailer that doesn't go very far are probably ok, but I'd look for ST trailer tires if they need to be replaced.

Sweet unit!

Your propane tanks must be the OPD (overfill protection device) style or you won't be able to get them refilled (legally.) The OPD tanks have a triangular knob on the valve. Older style is round.

Also, check your propane tanks for the manufacture date. It's a MM-YY format somewhere on the vertical "C" collar around the valve. If it's more than 12 years old, it must be re-certified before it can be refilled

Being 30 pounders, they are much more valuable than 20's. You can get them refitted with OPD valves and recertified for about the price of a new empty 20. If they are in good shape, they're worth the investment.

Dining Table

Hi,
I just bought a 1982 1350 last week. The original owner enlarged the beds on either side and had a smaller free standing pedestal table in the middle. I put it back the way it was but do not have the original table. I will probably have to build the table from scratch If you could give me the dimensions of your table and the table leg it would be helpful. I only have brackets on the wall so any ideas on new brackets for the table? I paid $900 for the trailer and want to make it nice without spending a ton of $.

Rich,
This is probably the type of leg originally with the table.
Table Leg
This would be the bracket set needed to attach it to the wall.
Hinge Bracket

My small coach is a '77 so I'm not sure if the table's the same size, but I can measure it up if you want.

Table set up

Cris and Tara,
Thanks for the quick reply. I think I will be able to make it work with the parts you listed.
I tried calling the original owner to see if the original table or parts were in his shed. He really did not think so (it was his Dad's Trailer) he was handling the estate.
I really want this table to look original, I think with those parts you listed it should.

Thanks,
Rich

That's a beautiful camper. I have a 1983, which is a little larger. I would rather have a smaller one like yours though, mine weighs over 5000 lbs. What does yours weigh? Do you still have it?
