LP Heat in 87 Satellite!! no heat!

well...we are in batteling the squirrels who are eating the lp lines... got new lines.. now the fridge and stove will fire up but not the heater! it runs - you hear the fan going and it sends out cold air! how long does it take to get hot? I called the former owner - we just bought it and he said he last used heat in March and it took 5 minutes... what could we be missing? we do have the original owners manual and are following it step by step... HELP please!

Just a guess. I've had my Satellite a month or so and had the same problem.
The fan came on and would blow cold air forever.
I had no manual but tried turning the valve in the opposite direction, WoW the furnace fired up, got warm air in abt 1min. Seems the valve had been left in the on position and I had no way of telling. Now it fires up every time and have heat in a min.
Hope ur problem is as simple as mine was.

Pull the grill off inside the camper, it's down at the bottom.
If that's not the problem, there are some real pro's around here that can perhaps solve the problem.
