leak ??

Hi.. just noticed inside of my 2004 T1950 a possible water leak.. Inside front of camper where the carpet goes up on wall about 4 inches.. then the wall paper... ( behind the upholstered chair ) wall paper is wrinkling.. URGH... feels Soft and spongy !! NO one has time for this .. but we truly have NO money... we looked outside and noticed the caulking on edge of camper is cracked... front / door side seam... what is involved.... I have NO idea how to even take off the carpet to look at it... afraid of what we will see....

Thoughts ?? we have never pulled apart our camper...

Thinking we shoudl just carefully pick at the caulking and reseal it ??

Is the spot soft or damp? The reason I ask, my old trailer had a spot like that above the door. It worried me to death until I took it apart. Come to find out, there wasn’t a leak at all. The paneling wasn’t cut to the right size and was just bubbled up.
As far as seeking out any active leaks, I think I would remove the bottom panel on the inside first, just below the transition strip. You can get a good look to see what type of damage really exists. You may have to remove/replace old insulation too. While the wall is open you can have someone flow the garden hose over the front of the trailer to locate the leak.
