Insulation in flooring of 1988 Sunline

A third posting today! Am on a roll!

I noticed after our 2nd weekend of camping, lots of cold air comes in via the flooring (as well as the bathroom). When I look underneath in the access doors outside, I can see there is not any insulation around the areas I can see. What would be the best way to go about adding insulation? If need pictures to better understand - I can post those.

Pictures would help for sure in this case so we know what you are seeing. Pending what you have there are options to insulate. The question of how exposed to the outside world is the insulation will offer different options on materials.

Pending location I have used fiberglass, foam board or Reflectix. Lowes sells it. Reflectix Inc. | The World’s Largest Manufacturer of Reflective Insulation and Radiant Barrier Products

Hope this helps

John

Your camper looks exactly like mine except mine has two doors. One in the front kitchen, and one in the bedroom. What model do you have?

Here are two pictures showing underneath the rear bed and the storage space. Trying to figure out the best way to insulate the areas.

Since we don't stay in our camper in the wintertime we don't worry about this problem. But the walls on either side of the rear of the trailer, as well as the rear of the trailer down to the hatch, should be insulated. The majority of the problem it seems to me then would be the rear hatch thru which you took your pictures. I would buy/make a piece of foam to swing into position and fit up snug just inside the hatch thus insulating around the area completely.
