Holding Tank Indicator question

I have a question about the holding tank full indicator lights on my '86 T2461. I've attached a picture of the Systems Monitor panel. There are two holding tank full indicator lights toward the lower right of the panel. They are labeled "Tank 1" and "Tank 2". My question is, which is the black tank and which is the gray tank? I think Tank 1 (the one of the left) is the black tank, but I'd like verification from someone with more experience (or an owners manual). Thanks.

John

Hi John,

Unfortunately, there's only one easy way to tell which tank is 1 and which is 2. You have to fill up one, either the toilet or sink, and see which one registers. It was only recently when they decided to define each.

I suppose if you were handy with electrical stuff, you could always try to power up one of the lines from the tanks and see which one it will register for.

There was nothing ever in an owners manual that described which was which.

Jon

hey i just put a post up about this same panel,
how do you get the panel to register for the different tanks? Is that what the adj. is for? I push down on the read button and the water light comes on. Does this read the level of the other tanks too? Or does it just light up when full for hold tanks?
