I had a 2004 T2499; it "just" fit through a 10 ft tall opening with about a 1" of clearance. I had to adjust the overhead door to lift that high to allow the opening to be a full 10 ft. (120").
If the driveway in and out of the garage has any downhill leading up to the garage, going over the hump into the building, which is level, is a watch-out spot. I was close to level with a slight grade down entering my older building, and it worked ok. But a large hump, might not have.
If you have a 12' high door, then no problem. Even the odd 11' door will work.
A thought, when backing in, stop before the AC comes to cross through the doorway and check if it will make it if you were told it was a 10 ft door. Just because a door is "rated" 10 ft. it might be an inch short or so for trim boards. I had to deal with the trim boards to get mine to work. Yes, it is that close.
Hope this helps
John
NOTE: The 2005's to 2007's T2499's were made on a different frame, taller. The AC unit on the roof is then about 2" + taller and will not fit through a 10 ft door unless there is no AC on the roof. We have a member with a 07, and they had to take the AC off to get it into the building—they were doing repairs on it, so the AC had to come off anyway.
