Have you ever seen....?

Hey all...years ago I owned a Solaris 2553 for a short time..instead of a "whole" booth dinette, it had a swivel chair at the door opening end and only the one bench seat --I really liked that as I don 't like the bench seat --DH does though. I would love to find a 2653 with that swivel chair at the dinette arrangement. Did they ever offer that option? And if so, has anyone ever seen one.?? Since our southern traveling has changed drastically, I am thinking a 2653 is back in my future for the 3rd time!! ..love my little 2363 but I think we need more room for our longer stays..won 't be moving around as much anymore -DH just can 't help anymore. I am hoping someone out there would like to make an equitable trade with me? Janalee

Kitty just mentioned that she sees a mod in your future! I just had to remove the dinette in our 2653, so I could replace the floor. Kitty removed that dinette bench in one of her previous Sunnies. She just covered the wall and called it good!

I'm not sure I'll put both bench seats back in the 2653... We'll see!

But what happens when you go to sell or trade it then if you have removed/covered that area? And by the way Kitty!!!! I can't have "a mod in my future" until I have the thing to mod with!!! Lol! Find me a trader and I will oblige! And by the way, I know you repaired the wall but what did you do with the floor under that bench?? Now Gary, if you search the threads you will find my mod for the 2653 where I made the sofa into a daybed..I would do that again in a heartbeat! Much more comfy and a better seating area for those of us who are well endowed in our own seats! Lol...Janalee

If I do not install that bench in the 2653 again, I will probably keep it with the T-299SR stuff. If we sell it, I can put it right back in! There is a 1993 T-2653 for sale nearby.. The link is HERE..

We removed the table and bench in our camper just on the door side and left the bench on other side and replaced the bench with a nice comfy chair for me . you can go to my site and look at my mods . I am so much happier with the set up now ,

I think you are looking for this interior. It was one of the primary reasons we settled on the T-2453.
