Gaskets coming loose from windows

We recently sold our 93 t-1700 and picked up a 99 t-2053. we need to put a little tlc into it, and one of the things I'm hoping to get some ideas on is fixing the rubber gaskets (im guessing this is what you would call them) around the windows.

Any ideas? I attached some pics.

Thanks!

I have not seen your window but have a thought. It "appears" the gasket has shrunk and is not pulling out in the corners. It looks like there is duct tape in four spots, is that to cover a split in the gasket? Thought being if those are not 4 splits that you can take the gasket out, put it back in with only gentle application to not stretch the gasket, it might hold in the corners. However if the gasket is shrunk then the one split will be wider as the entire length is shorter. You may be able to cover that one are with gorilla tape as a temporary patch until you can find a new gasket.

Seeing the Hehr sticker on the window, Hehr is still in business. They may offer selling new gasket material. Try a hit on the web for them I "think" this is them

http://hehrintl.com/

In addition, these folks may offer some help or can get what you need if Hehr does not sell direct. I have never bought from these folks however; I have found them often in web searches for RV parts

Hope this helps

John

John - Thanks for the info. I ended up determining this was the glazing bead. I ordered a few feet of it through pellandent. Thanks for the links!
