flat tire damage

We had a tire go on our Sunline. The tread came off and it put some holes in the wheel well liner. Has any one had to repair this? Im guessing yes and I want to take advantage of others experience
Thanks in advance
Bill S

Hi Bill,

I have never bought a wheel well, however I used to have your prior camper year and model. A very nice unit.

These guys are a place to start. They are not the cheapest but they have a large selction
Wheel Well - Fenderskirts-Single Axle - All-Rite.com

And these guys
- RV Windows

I have another place but cannot seem to find the link right now.

Is your cracked or totally destroyed? If only cracked and we can figure out the plastic, it may be able to the solvent welded back together.

Here are some wheel well search hits on our site.
radio - Google Search

They may turn up a source. One person got lucky and found one at Martin Camper sales

Good luck. These are hard to find. If you find a source, please post

John

Thanks John,
An quick check revealed mostly cracks and some small holes. I did a bunch of searching and found a reference to plasi weld. Its a repair kit that will melt and repair cracks and has a mesh to fill holes. I am very hope full that it will work.
That's supposed to be a hope full face!

If you take ABS cleaning solvent and rub it on your wheel well and it starts to melt it slightly Then you can use Plasti-mend. I repaired my black tank with it and it's holding up well.
