Curtain tracks
Where's the best place to get either new curtain tracks or at least replacement METAL slides? The plastic ones are breaking one by one and I'd like to replace them all when I get around to commissioning someone to make me new curtains! Ideas?

Hi,
Can you post what year and model camper you have? And did these curtains come from Sunline? Trying to figure out what yours looks like to help with a brand or hardware.
Our Sunline did not come with sliding curtain tracks. More of a set of window side curtains on a fixed upper section on a cornice with Velcro and a plastic holding clip at the bottom.
Hope this helps
John

87 t1550. I'm not at the camper right now but it's a c channel facing downwards with little discs that fit inside and a hook to attach to the curtain pins that go through each pleat. That's the best way I can describe it. The tracks are metal aluminum so I'm okay with that.

Good evening Nofrills,
I too have a 1987 T1550. I was look at installing tracks for curtains. Whatever was originally there is long gone now. I had found some on Amazon but don't have any pictures to go by to know what to order. If you have any pics, could you post? One or two will do. I am still trying to decide. There are many ideas online.
Thank you for your time.
Tommie

OK got it. Sorry I can't help on this one right now as ours is very different. Hopefully one of our other fellow members know with the older campers.
If you do not get any responses, take some pics of the problem parts and post. We can then help search with you for that hardware. There are a lot of aftermarket hardware places out there. The key is knowing what it looks like to match it up.
Hope this helps
John

Thanks Nofrills.
That looks similar to some that I found on Amazon. I think I searched by RV curtain track. They have another type as well but that may be for wall mounting. Not sure.
I am not able to copy a link right now as I am using the Amazon app on my phone.
Thanks again.

See if this helps as a place to start. From your pics.
The track, scroll down to the bottom of this page they show the track rail and they have dimensions. Part Number: 80201 - 96" Aluminum Track JR Products :: Catalog
The sliding eye hooks, scroll down and see if these look like what you have. Part Number: 81085 - Curtain Carrier
JR Products :: Catalog
There is a "request for more information" link on each that they will email you more info on them.
Once you can confirm theses are the correct parts, then do a web search for the JR Products part number to but them. Amazon sells a lot of JR Products items.
Hope this helps
John

I don't know about the tracks but the little parts that slide and hold the curtains can be had at an RV outfit a box of them is like $7. My T1700 tracks are fine but there were several of the slidy things broken.
