Bon's Supper & Dessert w/pic's

Well today I did absolutely nothing. Rained hard and good stiff breeze, so played with my new stove a bit.

I always get Bon’s supper for her, so thought we’d eat in our camper. Bon’s a joy to cook for, never complains & happy to eat whatever I prepare, sometimes it “ain’t” so good.

Bout noontime I had dessert figured out and a while later I had an idea for supper.

Strawberry Shortcake, here are a couple pic’s, all done in the camper.

The oven appears to work great and temp settings on the "dial" seem vry accurate.

Ok, these are just regular biscuits, but they turned out good.

Now desserts outa the way.
Thought I'd make some Baked Stuffed Sole (flounder) real easy & quick, but another chance to try the new oven.

Just as the Stuffed Flounder came out of the oven.

Had mashed potatoes & peas, extra stuffing and that's about it. Was easy meal to prepare. Bon like it real well, Sarah (dog) was vry happy, me too.

Here's the whole thing on the table, Sarah is not in the pics but she was getting somewhat impatient.

As I said meal was easy enough to get ready and I'd not mind doing it if I were "Up North" in the woods.
Later,
Ray

Now that is very cool!!!

Thanks for sharing. Seeing folks enjoying their Sunlines, even in the driveway... is great to see. We too have dined in the driveway....

And I see you like to cook too. I think one of the big reasons Cindy likes to camp is I do most of the cooking. And I like doing it. Have the time to fiddle with doing it camp style. However we have not used our oven much yet. Heated bread once and grilled hot dogs in side once as it was so yukky out. Seeing your results may try a few new things in the oven. I know I have heard many use a pizza stone to help even out the heat. But it seems you have not needed that.

Happy camping, where ever you are....

John
