'89 Sunline T-2400 Refrigerator Vent (?) and one other Stupid question...
What am I supposed to have here? The previous owner put some flimsy wood paneling here, and I'm trying to figure out what to replace this with? If it makes any difference, the current 'Fridge is just a regular 110V unit from Wal-Mart, so no propane. What do I need to fix/correct this blasphemy? If I can just fabricate an aluminum panel and block it off, I will do so. If I need a vent, does anyone have one? The exterior frame dimesnions are 23"X14 7/8".
One more little thing- Along the curb side of the camper, it has a bunch of little clear tabs which appear to be silicone to the aluminum siding, and to the fender skirt. WTH are these? I'm thinking I don't need them, but before I go removing stuff, I thought I might ask the experts. Thanks everyone!

OH!!!
I know what those little tabs are! From the look of it, at one point, your camper had an awning with an attachable screen room. Those tabs were for the screen room to hook to so the bugs didn't get in. I believe that those tabs were for an awning feature called "add-a-room."
As far as the fridge, the hole in the wall was for the propane part of the fridge to be lit (for a propane/electric fridge) and exhausted. Your trailer is very similar to mine, so I will try to get a photo to show what it should look like.

Just get a new door to replace the one with. Might be able to just open the new one in the hinge all the way, slide it out sideways, and slide it into your existing frame. You could paint it tan to match if you didn't want the white.
You might be able to leave the wood there too since you're using an electric refrigerator.

The standard electrical only fridge replacement still needs cooling in the rear as that is where the condenser fins are. The best would actually be to somehow create a vent on the inside to get air conditioned cool air to the back of the fridge and do what you were thinking and block that outside opening with metal.
Replacing it with an original cover with the venting slats would work too as you would at least get fresh outside air in there.
As it might sit right now with no air flow to the back of the fridge is awful. I don't know how the fridge is installed of course and there may be tons of air access to the back of it already.

Thanks for the replies everyone! The Current fridge takes up nowhere the entire space, and seems to be cooling well as it is, so I'm wondering would I be best off to completely seal this opening off? What is to keep water and debris from entering with the louvered vents?
As far as the little tabs, I suspected as much regarding the screen room. The original paperwork states it is an Omni Awn "Celebrity" ratchet awning.

If the residential fridge is getting access to the cool air in the camper then yes, I would make that opening permanently blocked. How is the vent on the roof? Did they block that as well or are you getting outside air from that?

This is a good question regarding the roof vent- I've yet to confirm if outside air is coming in there as well, guess I'll have a look here in a few. Back soon with further info.

There should be either a louvered vent in the side or a vent on the roof.

It should have both. Hot air through the top, cooler air back in through the bottom.
