For older campers like yours, try these places.
On the side of the trailer A-frame rails, by the LP tanks area, behind the original ball coupler, look for an attached VIN tag or that they stamped the VIN into the steel frame rails. Also, look at the sides of the original ball coupler. Sometimes, layers of paint cover all this. Take care when taking off the paint if you find something that will make the stamping unreadable.
I say original ball coupler as someone has added a ball coupler extension of sorts attaching it where the original ball coupler was from Sunline. Hopefully, in the conversion, they did not cover over the VIN stamped on the side of the original coupler, if it was even there.
Another place to look is under the entry door threshold. At the bottom of the doorway, screwed to the floor just inside the camper, is a threshold plate. Take the screws out and see if there is one under that plate.
Another place—I'm not sure if your older camper has this, as I'm not sure what year they started adding the VIN to the inside weight tag. Look inside the top cabinets. A sticker is stuck to the back of the door or inside the cabinet somewhere in the camper. Your is so small it could be any of them but try the kitchen area first. You may find the tag, and it may say Sunline and other info, it may or may not have the VIN, but it is a place to look if you cannot find it in the other two locations.
Good luck
John
