1980 toyota sunline

So what i have is a 1980 toyota sunline mini motor home. 22re motor and im in the middle of a complete overhaul of the inside. Does anyone have any suggestions that will make life easier of the rennovation. I want/need AC ideas as well as fridge ideas. Propane power fridges are crazy expensive and the one i have doesnt work. The old AC was entirely too heavy of the roof so i want to find something that is a little more friendly for the sunline. I will post pictures if needed

I have a 1985 Nissan Sunline and there is not much information about them. I am pretty much renovating the entire thing. My factory three-way refrigerator still works and I am happy to be able to reuse it. The roof AC works great but I am having to reinforce the ceiling. I have already gutted most of the inside and from that experience have learned quite a bit. I will be happy to share any information I can.

Never heard of such a thing. They stopped producing the mini motorhomes in late 1982/early 1983, and they only had Toyota and Datsun chassis. They produced a prototype class C in 1985 based on a GMC chassis, but nothing small that I know of.

I'd be very interested in seeing any pictures of this, if it was a one off prototype.

1984 Nissan Sunline Mini-Motorhome

Here is a photo (and its s a 1984 not 85, sorry). There is barely any information about these little rigs. It is around 16 feet. I can post more photos if you like. This is the day I bought it off a lot in Holly Pond, Alabama.

Yep, I can help if it's the Sunline VIN. Unless the sticker is still readable on the outside, it should be under the door sill- pull the three or four screws that hold the little aluminum plate, pop it up, and then the secondary VIN tag should be right under there.

To me, it looks like they did a chassis swap on this at one time with a newer chassis. The Toyota/Datsun chassis originally used had a 22R engine, which I hear was pretty good, but the rest of the chassis was weak, especially the rear end. So much so that they were recalled for issues with the dual rear wheel adapters.

I would love to see more pictures too! There were less than 100 of these ever built through all the years, so I don't know much about them.
