two Que questions

In looking at the tv mounting, I was reminded of another question I had been meaning to ask. In the ceiling above the mounted television, there is a hole labeled 12 v aux (or something like that). It is right next to the cable connection. We tried to put the car charger for the cell phone into it, and it's way too small....so, what the heck is it for?

Second question...the AC has a heat setting, and the salesman told us it had heat strips, but we get no heat from it. Anybody have heat with the AC, or was that just salesman confusion?

Thanks!

I'm not going to be much help here because we just tried to plug a 12v charger into the same plug & found it to be too small also. So, I'm anxious to hear anyone elses response. I know that you can get a heat strip for some A/C units, but as far as I know we don't have one.

All Que's have the DuoTherm unit but you have to purchase the heat strips from the dealer. (And probably have them install it too.)

I charge our cell phones and rechargeable air compressor with that 12v receptacle and, while it is snug, they do fit.

Hmmmm, maybe we just need to be a bit more forceful with the phone charger, although the outlet seemed to be a good bit too small!
