How do I charge the battery from my Driveway?

Can anyone tell me how to charge my battery using my household current. The Dealer told me but I forgot. Shame on me

Folks.....

Just 2 simple steps.

==> Make certain your battery switch is "on" . (Open the outer front streetside compartment. About 24 inches back @ the left rear is a switch. On our Que, "off" is the 12 o'clock position, and "on" is the 3 o'clock position).
==> Run a power cable from a house outlet to your trailer. (You'll probably need an adapter to go from the 30-amp trailer plug into a 20-amp cable from a house outlet).

NOTE: As long as your extention cable is at least 12 gauge, you won't have any problems. The amp draw on the Que's converter-charger isn't that heavy. I tend to leave mine plugged in for days (though when it's in winter storage I pull the battery, store it in the garage, and periodically use a trickle charger).

thanks

I am sorry to bother but my rv is too close to the house so I would have to move it. Is there any discriptive website to tell me how to do this.
We just got the rv a month ago and the battery is going slowly. The dealer said I could plug it in but I forgot how. You stated the outer front streetside outside the Que and a battery switch. Where would this battery switch be located. I have the manual for the Ques but it does not tell me how to charge the battery using household current. I will try tomorrow

Your RV is too close to the house to open the compartment door? You can also get to the battery switch by lifting up the sofa cushions . But then you probably wouldn't be able to get to the plug to plug in the trailer because it's on the street side too. Sounds like you'll have to move it. The other option is to completely remove the battery and use a trickle charger.

Battery Charger

Thanks
I'll try that. I have a Schauer 10 amp battery charger with a 12 volt and 6 volt switch. Can I use that to charge the battery?

Turn the switch nasa refers to to the OFF position, then you can use the trickle charger right on the tongue without removing the battery. Next time you park it try to leave enough room to access that side of your trailer, because nasa's solution is really the best way to go.

unable to locate battery switch

I removed the cushions but was unable to locate battery switch in my model. When we tried to empty the water tank nothing came out.
As I stated I totally forgot the steps to take to drain the tank and it does not show it in the manual. I assume the switch on the battery was on because all of the lights were still on. I am new at this. Please advise
We punp the water from the faucet but still have a lot to go.

Go to the above discussion for good directions on clearing out the water system. Yes, your battery is still on if the lights are working. If you turn off the battery your water pump won't work unless your trailer is plugged into the house current. You'll need to be able to access the hot water heater outside door in order to drain it, so you're going to have to be able to get to the back side of your unit. The battery switch on ours is in the outside compartment under the sofa cushion that lifts up, and all the way toward the front of the trailer.
