Wireless Back Up Camera?

I'm sure someone, if not many folks have thought of this- What brand did you buy, and how do you like it? I was thinking it might be nice for backing in a site, or to aid in the rear view lost when towing the camper.

Anyone?

Well, I guess my question has been answered-

So, I did it, and let me tell you, it's the shiz when backing into a dark campsite at night, and also quite amusing to keep tabs on the guy behind you in traffic, since the TT renders the rear view mirror useless. I ran mine to a switch so I control when it's on, rather than utilizing an input from the back up lights.

Looks good. What kind/brand did you get?

When you 1st asked the question the thought went to the back of the truck for hitching up, but I think you meant the back of the TT. Can you easly move the camera between the 2 locations?

Is it a wired or wireless set up?

This thought has cross my mind a few times, especially if it has a night camera. My car has one built in and it is great!

It's an ebay special, had to buy the camera/monitor/receiver/transmitter separately. I wouldn't recommend the clown of a seller, but once I finally got everything, it works great. It could be moved to the tow vehicle easy enough, but a simpler way would be to buy a separate camera for the rear of the truck and a separate wireless transmitter, and switch back and forth by powering them up independently thru separate switches. I don't feel I'd ever need one for hitching up, but it sure makes parking that bad boy in the dark a breeze. It also doesn't hurt that our Sunline has back up lights in the tails.

I have the Swift Hitch system.

My goal was to be able to have the flexibility of using the unit for hitch connection as well as attaching to the back of TT for those times that I may need eyes back here day or night.

I also wanted something very portable

I will be camping most of the time by myself, thus the extra eyes when and if I need them.

If I need a larger monitor I connect to my 10" Netbook, which is also my GPS (Garmin computer Software w/ receiver).

I might as well be camping by myself, my wife has no interest in hitching up the camper, car hauler, or anything similar! LOL

Whoops John, I forgot to answer, it's wireless and has night vision. I'll get a pic of it in action soon.
