What store bought odds N ends do you find useful?

This isn’t a modification, but I thought it would be interesting and useful to start a topic where we could share some of the unique (or common) odds and ends we’ve purchased that have been found to be very useful.

Here’s one of ours:

It’s called a No Mold Refrigerator Door Holder:

We use it all the time when we’re not camping and while we have the trailer in winter storage. Keeps the refrigerator aired out and mold free. We got it at Camping World; costs $6.

We use these bungee cords and 2x8's to help support our A/C unit. Picked them up out behind the garage and the duct tape was pulled off of the fender of my old Torino

My most used store bought accessory(-y +ies) has got to be all of the plastic baskets/ storage boxes we have storing EVERYTHING in the cabinets!

We don't really have any camper 'gadgets'. Mostly, we use old stuff from the house. The dog food goes into the old dog treat bins from Sam's club (thay have a handle and a flip up lid).

We use a wood block to hold our fridge door open because our fridge is low to the floor.

OH WAIT! We did buy a 'SWING UP JACK' that makes life MUCH eaiser. We took it off the Aliner, and have yet to install it on the Que, but it has a big industrial wheel which is eaiser to roll, and it swings up and out of the way for travel, rather than have to crank it up. We LOVE that!

I have the fridge thing that you have. Use a lot of "mini" bungee cords for all types of stuff. A fly swatter, ya know there always has to be that "ONE" pest buzzing around. I have the rectangular wheeled totes that fit in the front storage compartment, makes organizing very easy, I use the awning rod to pull the rear ones forward. Bought a picnic organizer that holds silverware & napkins for outside use. As I have 2 sets of silverware, so that makes it quick to grab. Keyholder/corkboard/notepad holder is very handy, mounted right inside the door. Slide out drawer under stove top since I deleted the oven. The deluxe hinged propane tank cover. My sewer hose holder. And the list goes on, I guess. Spring tension rod across rear of shower to hang wet (sometimes really dripping wet) items to dry.

Auxiliary Mirrors for your Tow Vehicle or any other vehicle.

These auxiliary mirrors easily attach to your existing mirror and, when adjusted, eliminate blind spots.
We have them installed on our tow vehicle (both sides):

Plus we put them on all our other vehicles, all the kids cars, and we even put them on our parents cars. We got them at Camping World for $12.00 for a set of 2. We really haven't seen them any other place, but that doesn't their not out there.

The really add to the visibility of what’s along side of you making changing lanes so much safer.

Forgot one of the "MOST" inportant store bought items:

the POWER TONGUE JACK, it is wonderful, though it's been passed along from one Sunny to another Sunny about 6 times.

Those power tongue jacks sure are nice. We had one on the 2653 and when it got traded in, it came off and got put on the car hauler (It can be seen in the Over-Under pics). The only problem is finding a battery to put in to work it! Fortunately, there was a jack welded onto the inside of the tongue from the factory, so I use that when there's no battery.

I think this feature should be standard equipment on every trailer. Maybe there should be a sensor inside the ball and a sensor on the tongue and the jack would automatically raise itself to the proper height when the TV came close enough. Now that would be lazy!

Santa brought me an Atwood 3500 under the tree this year.

Now it's on "The Camper"

Forgot another important store bought odd/end:

18 volt cordless drill for lowering/raising the stabalizers. Plus it sure comes in handy for lots of other "stuff" I find myself doing. This drill stays in Sunny, as I have a full set of Craftsman 19.2 power tools in the house.

I find the drill helpful too. I like to tighten up the jacks as tight as they go, so I usually have to loosen or tighten with the handle. Most of the time, I just don't bother with the drill because all of mine have been low enough that it's not worth it.

Does everyone else tighten the jacks up all the way? I always figured it helps give extra clearance and they won't wobble down. Plus, it keeps the screw clean, since I grease them.

Let's see:

1) Power tongue jack
2) DH's "cordless impact driver" to put the stabilizers down - he now uses it for the
3) Ball wheel chocks
4) All the "open weave" baskets I bought for a breadbox - under the TV/entertainment center in the 2499 & in the overhead closet in the bedroom...
5) Spring tension bars - they are everywhere too! - in almost every cabinet, where I don't want things sliding around
6) Shower rods - that I move from low - to hold things when traveling i.e. bottled water, garbage can, bathroom garbage can - & move them up when at a site , for towels, they dry so much faster than being folded up on the back of the door.
7) Chrome "free standing" paper towel holder - I guess in 07 Sunline did away with the nice wooden towel holder - now we have the movable one and it goes from the kitchen area - to the bar area (we use the entertainment center top) - to outside when cooking out there.

Oak finish toothbrush/glass holder in the bathroom.

Oh I guess the list can go on and on....but let's hear what everyone else has added!

From Camper's World - a heavy plastic inside roof vent cover. It t's molded for good looks and strength. It's eay to install, and can be tight against the vent frame for some insullation and darkness; put in another position to allow for about 3/4" all around for some ventilation and not much light, or taken off for the full benefits of the vent. It was one on the less expensive and better looking covers.
