TP Holder for a walk-through bathroom
Our 2005 T-280SR has a walk-through bathroom, which created a major dilemma, where to put the toilet paper holder . On all our previous Sunlines we used wood wall-mounted toilet paper holders.
Here’s our previous T-2670 showing the TP holder mounted on the back of the bathroom door with an extra towel rack mounted on the wall.
So our first thought was to look at where would be the best place to mount a TP holder that would be convenient and easy to reach without twisting or reaching too far. Couldn’t find a place, door was too far away, opposite wall would be in the way of standing in front of the sink .
So we started looking at free standing TP holders. Here’s what we came up with.
We got it from Linens N Things and its finish matches the other cabinet hardware almost perfectly .
When on the road we use a rubber band around the TP to keep it from unraveling. We’ve also secured the TP holder to the wall using a self-sticking plastic clip. This has kept the TP holder from moving around when traveling.
Hope this sparks some ideas for others.

Our pass thru bath has the holder on the door and works well as the toilet is more facing the door as opposed to yours on the side. So we do not have the reach problem.
BUT, the rubber band Yes that will work. I generally have 15 feet all balled up after each trip heading down the road.
So yes the idea spark, worked.
Thanks
John

We use a small bungee on both the TP & paper towels.....the little hooks make it a lot easier to handle...you don't have to take it off of the holder (if you have a two sided TP/Paper towel holder).......works for us! BUT in our 2499 we need to find a place for the TP holder...we haven't decided on that yet.

Gee, 2 elastic ideas Great! That will be on the next outing to do list.
Kathy
Isn't your T2499 TP holder on the back of the door?
Here is a 2004 right from Sunline.
Sorry the pic did not include the potty so you can see the relation, but here is the potty looking out at the door that has the TP holder on it. Actually this pic was for the longer towel rod we put up in place of the 1 towel ring that Sunline gave us.
Hope this helps
John

Well, I don't have a very fancy way for supporting my Ttissue . I use a "mini" bungee cord with the hooks on each end. I fasten one hook on the bottom towel rod, slide the tissue on the bungee, and then fasten the other hook onto the rod. I hated like he++, the thought of putting holes in my new trailer, so this works. Will take photo and post it later. I have not had to rubberband the roll of TT to prevent unwanted unrolling, I guess with the roll resting against the door, it prevents un-rolling. Has been working for me for many miles.

John - no our TP holder is not mounted, just in a plastic bag) and we didn't get a paper towel holder AT ALL. Right now we have a metal free standing one - similar to your TP holder - works great can move it from stove/sink area to TV area (which we don't use for TV most of the time) - we use TV area for our "bar area"......
