Insulation is behind the siding. Looks like this
The siding is very thin. Think aluminum roof flashing thick. The siding is stapled to the studs which have insulation between them. Behind the insulation is the 1/8" luan wall board of the inside of the camper.
Are the speakers going to be mounted permanently to the camper or are you going to plug them in using an RCA jack or something?
Same for the LED's.
If you are going to create an outdoor plug setup, there are other ways to do this and not go through the siding. (less leak potential) You can go down through the floor, find a cabinet or place hidden inside, drill and insert a piece of tubing as a conduit chase and seal the tubing to the waterproof membrane on the bottom. Do not go down through by a wheel, they throw a lot of water when towing in the wet. Wire pushes down through the conduit and then you can pump sealant up from the bottom around the wires to seal the conduit closed. Then mount a receptacle box on the bottom edge side of the camper to lift a cover off and get to the jacks.
Just a thought to help spark some ideas.
Hope this helps
John
