Removing Factory Pictures from Wall
Picture Removal:
First a warning about being careful, very careful with the "very high tech, dangerous tool". I am SURE you will have this tool in your house arsenal.
When your ready to remove the pictures, proceed to your kitchen to get your "high Tech tool, open a drawer and procure a "Butter Knife", yep, this is gonna be your dangerous high tech tool
Also a can of "Goof-Off" to remove any remaining sticky tape residue.
Take the butter knife and slide it along the edge behind the picture frame. While sliding the knife, I was also sorta twisting it sideways to help pry the frame off the wall. I actually also got brave and was pulling on the frame too. I did this while it was chilly in the Sunline (not sure that it matters).
So, not really a lot of work, just went slow and held my breath a lot. "IF" I had caused a piece of the wallcovering to come off, I would have tried to peel it off the frame and then glue it back in place, but everything just let go like I had hoped for. Plus the previous owner had put 4 additional pictures over the head of the bed that I also had to remove.
I am much happier with out all the pictures, even the Sunline installed ones.
Let me know how you make out.
Kitty
IF they MUST put a picture up in your rig, WHY can't they use some easy to remove frame that would allow you to insert a picture of your own choice.

I heard somewhere that fishing line is good for removing this kind of stuff. Actually where I heard it was from someone wanting to remove the F-250/350 badges off the side of their truck. The line won't scratch paint that way. Maybe this would work if the knife doesn't, just work it back and forth.

Thanks for the tips Kitty! I was thinking I may try goo off / undo (scrapbook version of the same product, I believe) on ours too. They are some ugly things. I noticed in the new RVs at the RV show they seemed to be into this three dimensional metal art sculpture things, that didn't do it for me either.

Fishing line works great on foam tapes. Just a little back and forth saws right through the foam without surface damage.
You then need to remove the leftover foam and adhesive. As others mentioned, there are plenty of products that work for this. I'm a bit partial to the goo-gone product because it is very gentle on surfaces. BUT, you do need to be careful, as there are two products named goo-gone. One contains solvent, one does not. I personally prefer the one without the solvent, as I have never had it damage a surface.

Lol, yes, starting in the early '90's. I think the idea originally stemmed from the Lancaster Decor Package in 1990, where they put some wreaths on the wall. The pictures started then in either 1991 or 1992.
They weren't anything exciting, they were usually floral type pictures, and very washed out looking so they weren't attention grabbing, and they were in oak frames that matched the cabinetry.
The pictures changed through the years, actually I think no two years were alike. In the early 2000's, the pictures changed to more of a watercolor scene and they became more bold by 2004 when they were going for the more modern look with the new cabinetry. The fifth wheels were an exception...since they retained more of a country feel inside, the pictures I believe stayed like a floral print- correct me if I'm wrong Kitty. In 2005, those type of pictures were deleted and a custom watercolor type print was produced for Sunline for the 40th anniversary. A small version of this print was put in each coach. Then in 2006, the pictures were gone completely and remained this way through the end of 2007.

IN our '03 F-311, we had 3 factory installed pictures.
Here is the picture along side the pantry:
Here are the pictures above the bed, the 2 larger pictures appeared to be factory originals, the 4 smaller ones were previous owner installed from JC Penny.
ALL of the pictures are now GONE !!!!!
