New window light

Next to my door I have a 42" wide window with an overhead valance inside. Along side it is a wall switch for overhead lights.

I installed a double wall switch and bought one of those 36" LED strips at an auto parts store. I installed the strip lights (white) inside the valance. Not a lot of usable light but a nice effect. With the shade down, from the outside the shade glows.

Today I install a strip light over a recessed shelf and one behind the TV on a dimmer switch to light up the wall behind it for use as a TV light. (I did that in the house using stick on under cabinet LED's) So far this year I replaced all the campers lamps with LED's and half the house and can't stop there. SOMEBODY STOP ME! Tonight I'll take some pictures.

It was difficult to take pictures in the dark and see the effect of the new lights. One photo is the valance light and the other is a light overhead on a shelf and a light behind the TV below the shelf. The photos on the shelf are Sheri and I at our 1969 senior prom center and the other two are always from our last cruise. Poodle skirt and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame shirt was for 60's night on the cruise last month.

I also installed a 12 volt plug in the cargo area. Handy for inflating rafts.
