Kitty's bedroom window mod

You just have to remember this mod is not totally finished YET !!! My great girlfriend that has been taking me to chemo all summer and helping me run errands helped a LOT. Then we decided to put the original quilt, pillow shams and throw pillows under the bed, which was trick as most of the under bed area is taken up by the slide mechanism, but Sunline did create a shallow tray area that is above the mechanism, so we were able to use that area. Still a little for me to do before we are ready to roll out friday evening.

We're now looking for some oak, to use for a head board. Here's the window, as it looks now...

Here's what it used to look like: (Had to borrow a pic of our Sunny's brother #815

We're going to use a piece of finished oak plywood, to make a head board. With the window treatments in place, we would have to sleep down from the top of the bed. If not, The valances and day/night shade would get messed up. More pictures to follow... AFTER our "Sunnymoon" next week!
